About Simon

Simon Addison is a full-time, professional Highland Piper and he has been playing the Great Highland Bagpipe for over 24 years. Already an accomplished musician having trained as a classical trumpeter at the age of 12, Simon took up the pipes at the age of 19 and studied at the College of Piping in Glasgow as well as having personal tuition from a former military piper, he has gone on to become a very talented and accomplished piper. He has recently been promoted to Pipe Sergeant for the Cwmbran And District Pipes and Drums and the band is going from strength to strength!
